I am excited to be a part of the Peace Reformed Church family. My family and I come from the West Michigan Area where we both grew and up and went to school. I graduated from South Christian High School and Calvin College. I also attended Calvin Theological Seminary. I became a Commissioned Pastor in the Reformed Church in America in 2009. 

Much of my career in the church has been as a Youth Pastor. I served for three years in Cutlerville and then most recently in Allendale for 11 years. I have enjoyed the role of Youth Pastor, and I look forward as Pastor to continue to build those types of relationships with all ages in the church. 

My family and I like to camp, and we enjoy traveling together. We have been to Mississippi to visit my parents, and recently took a family trip to Colorado to tent in the mountains. I also like to fish and hunt. Our extended family in the West and Northern Michigan are also hunters and the fall is a wonderful time of being together with them and spending quiet times in the woods with God.
